Literature Text

You knew that I loved you.
I don’t know why you didn’t believe me
Whenever I told you that.
I hope you’re happy.

You’ve hurt me so much.
I don’t know what you see in her
But I want you to remember one thing:
You’ll never be thought of by me again.

I think you deserve to die
For all the pain you’ve caused me.
It’s a wonder I’ve stayed in one piece,
Especially after all this time.

I’ll make sure you rot in Hell.
After all, I’m such good friends with Satan.
If you ever have children, the Oogey Boogey Man
Will haunt them every single night of their childhood.

One day, hopefully soon, you’ll realize
Just what you had left behind
When you left me for that other girl.
You’ll see you made a big mistake.

The other girl is so wrong for you.
Leaving me for her was probably the biggest
Mistake you’ve ever made in your life.
You’ll regret your decision and I hope you regret it soon.
My longest poem yet, written in free verse (and I never write in free verse!).
